Brazilian Blowout

I admit, when I heard the name I was a little skeptical, to say the least. I quickly changed my mind when my sister in law told me more about it. I have the nappiest, frizziest hair EVER and when Jen told me she could make it smooth, healthy and STRAIGHT, I was sold.
Before, nevermind the upward angle that makes me look like a wooly mammoth!
This photo is later that day after the Brazilian Blowout. Poor Jen...it took three hours and her poor shoulders were falling asleep! My hair has never looked this shiny or felt this soft! It is so worth it! If you have wanted to know what it feels like to let your hair air dry and be able to walk out the door...YOU NEED THIS! Give Jen a call-801-479-7100

Brazilian Blowout lasts about 15 weeks and is totally chemical free. It is made with conditioners and protein and is seriously amazing!

Island Park

We crammed one last vacation in before summer was officially over! It was so nice to just relax with Brade's family and enjoy the serenity of no cell service, no email, no facebook...ahhh..
Bentley really wanted to see a waterfall...don't ask where this obsession came from...

it was gorgeous, we were so glad to have Ken and Sue join us
tuckered out after "hiking" down to the falls
Greyson and Bentley...such cute ages right now!
both of them were terrified
happy to be carted around by aunt Jen
Tanner trying to keep up...funniest thing ever when his training wheels would get stuck in the mud and he would just sit and spin
Thanks again Jen and Ror for such an amazing vacation! You guys are the best!

I have to write down some funny things Bent has said lately that I don't want to forget:

Whilst strolling at the Weber County Fair..."Mommy, I'n hot, turn the air on!

In the car-
"Mommy, I want to watch a show"
Emily "Why don't we leave the TV off and sing a song"
"NOOO"
Me "Fine, Emmy and I will sing a song"
"Not sing a song YOU GUYS"

Laying in her "new" bed trying to get her to go to sleep
Me "Bentley it is time to lay down and sleep"
"Mommy, you a princess"
Me "thanks, now na-night"
"Mommy, you boo-i-ful"
Me "thanks, na-night"
kisses me on the eye-"mommy you go na-night, I go play in the kitchen-sleep tight"

Whilst cleaning the kitchen
Me "Brade will you throw this away"
"Mommy, how do you ask?"
Me "please, Daddy"
"Good job mommy, good job daddy for garbage"

Me "Bentley what is your daddy's name?"
"Honey"

After attending tumbling for the first time

"I wanna dance! I wanna dance at the talent show!"

Wants to wear "dance" every day with her ballet shoes!

Thank goodness for IPhone camera's...all grainy and nice!

Never Ending Story!

I am feeling totally overwhelmed lately with all the house projects I need to finish before the babe gets here. I was looking through some photos trying to find one of Bentley's room before...and came across these two. When I look at these, I remind myself....it is all worth it in the end right?
Before
After

Buying an older home is definitely a project, but it is always fun to go back and look through the before and afters. We did finally redo our kitchen and we are nearly finished with Bentley's room. I will post some pictures in the near future.

Not Worth the Fight

Sometimes it is just not worth the fight when she wants to eat her pancakes...whilst sittting in the lazy-boy...next to the breakfast table...in the kitchen...

Pregnancy and Summer

Label found on Summer Season: SUMMER SHOULD NOT BE MIXED WITH SECOND OR THIRD TRIMESTER OF PREGNANCY. IF MIX HAPPENS, IT IS ADVISED TO STAY INDOORS WITH AIR CONDITIONING SET AT FRIGID TEMPERATURES. IF PREGNANT AND RESPONSIBLE FOR THOSE INDIVIDUALS UNDER THE AGE OF FIVE, IT IS ADVISABLE TO SPEND AT LEAST FOUR DAYS A WEEK IN OR AROUND WATER.
I read the label and therefore I am taking the proper precautions:

Can't seem to get the other water ones to load

(label cont.) IF PLANNING TO DO ANY STRENUOUS ACTIVITY, PLEASE BE ADVISED TO CHEAT AND LET YOUR TWO YEAR OLD DO IT FOR YOU!

I also read the fine print that read: IF UNABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN WATER ACTIVITIES, PLEASE BE ADVISED TO TAKE TIME IN NORTHERN, MUCH COOLER CLIMATES.

Brade and I also took the proper precautions and headed to Vancouver, Canada
